At Fix Forward Labs it runs as a fixed-price Fix Forward Sprint, usually 3 to 6 weeks, keeping the screens your team already uses.
How much does it cost to fix an AI-built app?
As of October 2026, our Fix Forward Sprints are fixed-price: from $7,500 for one tool with no payments, typically $12,500 to $25,000 over 3 to 6 weeks, and $30,000 to $50,000 for several connected tools with payments and integrations. The free Forward Scan tells you which band you’re in before you commit.
Do we have to rebuild the app from scratch?
Usually not. Most AI-built business apps have screens and workflows worth keeping; what’s missing is the last 20%: logins, permissions, payments, backups and monitoring. We rebuild only what holds the weight. If the Scan shows a rebuild or off-the-shelf software is the better buy, we say so in writing.
Will the app go down while you fix it?
No planned downtime. We work on a separate copy, test changes there, and release them in small steps you see in weekly demos. The first three days (Freeze) close anything actively leaking data or losing money, usually without your team noticing anything except that it works better.

Only the Fix Forward Labs engineers on your project, under a signed NDA, with access you can revoke at any time. For the Scan we can work from a read-only invite. At handoff, every account, key and repository is in your company’s name, documented in the runbook.
We don’t have a developer. Who looks after it afterwards?
Forward Care, $1,000 to $3,000 a month, cancel anytime: monitoring, security updates, monthly backup checks, small changes, priority fixes and a quarterly re-scan. Every Sprint also ends with a written runbook and a 60-minute handoff call, so your team or any future developer can take over.
