Forward Build is Fix Forward Labs’ service for building a new business app properly from the start: real logins, data rules, payments, backups, monitoring and a runbook included. As of October 2026 it is quoted per project and typically takes 4 to 12 weeks. It is the right choice when nothing exists yet or a Forward Scan shows a rescue would cost more than a rebuild.

Do you use AI tools to build?
Yes. They make us faster, and that speed shows up in your quote. Our engineers review every line that touches data, logins or money, and the last 20% (permissions, payments, backups, monitoring) is built in from the first week instead of patched in later.
Who owns the code?
You do. The code, database, hosting and every key are set up in accounts in your company’s name from day one. The runbook lists them all, so your own team or any developer can take over without asking us for anything.
Can you build on Lovable so our team can keep editing?
Often, yes. If your team wants to keep making screen changes themselves, we can build the front end in a tool like Lovable and put the data rules, logins and payments behind it where a prompt can’t break them. We’ll tell you in week 1 whether that fits.
What does it cost?
Forward Build is quoted per project and the price is fixed after week 1, once we’ve mapped every screen, table and integration. The free Forward Scan or a short intro tells you the likely range before you commit.
How is this different from an agency?
Agencies typically quote $80,000 to $200,000 and 4 to 6 months, starting with weeks of discovery and design. We build in 4 to 12 weeks at a fixed price, show you working software every week, and hand over a runbook so you’re never locked in.
What happens after launch?
Thirty days of support are included. After that you can move to Forward Care, from $1,000 a month, for monitoring, patches, backup checks and small changes, or hand the runbook to your own team.
